Designing an AI writing tool with Newsela
A series of generative and formative quantitative studies, including competitive analysis with the main competitors, in-depth interviews, and tasked-based usability studies with prototypes, were conducted to understand teachers' and students' needs, paint points, and goals and provide recommendations to the design process.

A national representative study among K12 teachers analysis was commissioned, and a series of in-house quantitative and qualitative studies were conducted in order to uncover opportunities and challenges around content discoverability.

To validate the use of NPS as a beloved metric, a discovery workshop, followed by user interviews and statistical analysis, was conducted.

A series of market research, qualitatives and quantitative were conducted to inform design decisions and user experience for the Food Network Kitchen product, across multiple platforms that brings together Food Networks, content, recipes, tolls, classes and the world’s top chefs.
